Ecocups

Inspire4Nature Ecocups

For sure a small step for Humanity, but we are very pleased with our Inspire4Nature ecocups. These made-in-France reusable cups are helping us to reduce dramatically our plastic consumption at project meetings while allowing everybody to remain as hydrated/caffeinated as needed. They also work as a little outreach method, as our fellows, senior scientists and collaborators take them back to their institutions.

The fellows first learned about the key concepts, categories and criteria in a IUCN Red List Assessor Training Workshop. They then applied their new knowledge and stills by participating in the IUCN Red List Assessment of Southern European Freshwater Fishes workshop, supporting experts in freshwater fishes coming from across Europe.

She analysed some of the most popular publicly available mammal trait databases following a hierarchical methodology to produce a combined database obtained. This allowed her to identify which mammal orders, trait types and parts of the world are data deficient.
