As part of Training Session 4 – Theory & practice of communicating at the science-policy interface – Inspire4Nature fellows are now receiving training on how to communicate about scientific results to a broad, non-specialised, audience.
This module covers in particular the pathway for communicating about scientific research via a press release, with the final aim of reaching the mainstream media. It will give fellows the theoretical basis as well as practical experience in writing an effective press release.
The theoretical part of the module took place (remotely) on the 23 September 2020. Fellows will now be working on applying what they have learnt to a practical example.
This training module is co-organised by the Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique and the Zoological Society of London.
