A 3rd Extraordinary Meeting of the Inspire4Nature Supervisory Board took place on the 18th of January 2021, remotely. It was convened to monitor progress in the fellows’ training programme and discuss how plans are being readjusted to deal with the complications derived from the covid sanitary crisis.
We dedicated substantial time to discuss options for out fifth and final training session, on job-searching skills, which was due to take place in July in Rwanda associated with the International Conference on Conservation Science. Alas, with this meeting has now been postponed to December, and it remains unclear if it will be possible to meet in person in July. The Supervisor Board voted to start the training remotely but plan for it to end in a meeting in person in Europe in July, if conditions allow. Fingers crossed!
